First of all, it is acceptable to spell “Hallowe’en” with the apostrophe! I just prefer it that way. Yes, it’s silly but for some reason that’s how I do it. I also put a horizonal line through my “Z’s”. Makes me different.
Anyway, I thought I’d put my Hallowe’en stuff on here.
The first card’s layout is similar to one I saw on someone else’s blog awhile back (unfortunately I can’t find where I got it from so I can’t give credit to the idea). I changed it with the black card and Creepy Crawly Designer Paper from SU. I also embossed the “BOO” from the Autumn Apparitions stamp set. Inside I embossed the “Happy Halloween” sentiment in white and some spiders and bats in Versamark with clear embossing powder. It looked really cool on the black cardstock. Some wiggles eyes were applied. We made this at stamp club.
Stamp set: Autumn Apparitions, Batty for You, Paper: Basic Black, Creepy Crawly DP, Whisper White, Clear Embossing Powder, Versarmark ink, Basic Black & Craft inks, 1 1/4″ circle punch
We also made the Hallowe’en Tin below at stamp club. I bought some tins at Michael’s for 50¢ and we covered them with the paper and made a tag to hang on the ribbon. I think everyone liked them!
Stamp set: Autumn Apparitions, Creepy Crawly Designer Paper, Basic Black cs, Pumpkin Pie cs, Whisper White cs, Pumpkin Pie grosgain ribbon, b&w gingham ribbon, linen thread, scallop circle punch, 1 1/4″ & 1 3/8″ circle punches, 1/16″ circle punch, sticky strip to adhere, or mod podge. I also used the coluzzle to cut out the top pefectly.
These decorated suckers were door prizes at stamp club. Everyone liked them so much I decided to make one more each and include them in with everyone’s orders! I got the idea from Cambria here. I cut around the suckers to get rid of most of the packaging. I used the mini glue dots to stick each scallop to the front and back. The back is just black. I used small terra cotta pots with floral foam inside to stick the sticks into. These heavier weight pots kept them from falling over.
Stamp Set: Batty for You, Cardstock & Markers: Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin pie ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, scallop circle punch, 1 1/4″ & 1 3/8″ circle punches.
One last giveaway at stamp club was this nugget box. I found the directions on Splitcoast and made the 4 long box. The bottom of the box is made of black cs, the top is of kraft cs and decorated with Creepy Crawly DP. I used the Autumn Apparitions set as well as the Petals & Paisley stamp set. I used the circle and dots stamp on the labels with More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie. We will be making these for Christmas at a future stamp club.
The next 2 cards are ones I CASE’d from Tandra. (CASE means to Copy And Share Everything). You can see them here and here.
