you=awesome thanks

Hello! Sharing a card with some yummy colors, during this often dreary winter season. Although I really love winter – it’s the only chance I get to wear my many sweaters and boots, haha!

Can you spy the small addition from the Delicate Details stamp set? This is one of the FREE items you can get during Sale-a-Bration (SAB) when you place a qualifying order. For every $50 you spend, you can choose something from the catalog. It’s that easy.

Hi everyone! I hope there is someone out there who is still with me, LOL! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I posted – shame on me! I’ve been so out of touch in my blogging lately, I’m afraid. I’ve been creating, I just haven’t taken the time to post my stuff – or even photograph some of it. Please forgive me. I also haven’t updated the blog to reflect the new and EXCITING Occasions Catalog and SAB (Sale-a-bration) catalog – oops!! So here we go, everything in one post I guess.

What’s the big deal about the SAB catalog? I know – most of you totally know, but just in case…all the goodies in the SAB catalog are FREE with a qualified purchase! Just purchase $50 worth of 100’s of product from anything in our new Occasions catalog, Annual Catalog, Clearance Rack items, etc. to qualify! For each $50 in product, you get to choose which item from this years SAB catalog that you’d like. It comes with your order. It’s that simple. Woohoo! Click here to get started!

Now, onto the card. I was inspired to stamp the card above from somewhere…but for the life of me I cannot find it. If you know from where, please let me know…I always like to give credit. I needed several thank you cards for Christmas & birthday gifts, so thought since it was December/January, these snowflakes would work well. Although, in Tennessee, we have had a couple of 70 degree days lately! Craaaaaaaaaaazy!

I have purchased some super cute stuff from the 2017 Occasions & SAB catalogs and hope to share something from that order soon!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

3 Hallowe’en cards

I made 3 cards using the same layout. I was inspired by the bag on page 52 of the Holiday Catalog. I mixed up papers and sentiments because I thought the Halloween Night Specialty DSP and all the stamps in the Spooky Fun stamp set were just too great to only do one! And then it was nice to have 3 different cards to send out. See below for the 2 additional cards.

I ADORE the Halloween Scene Edgelits – that TREE! And the fence – goodness I’ll keep these forever. And the best part is – both the stamp set and edgelits are a bundle price!

Let me know if you have any questions, and as always, thanks for stopping by today!

Be happy!

I most definitely believe that when we have happy thoughts, we can have happy days. Even in spite of our trials.

This card uses all retired product, but I hadn’t shared it before, so rather than go another possibly extended length of time without posting, I decided to share it. It’s a great layout that showcases patterned paper. The card base is recycled from a group of really old fashioned cards set I came across, and rather than throw it away, I covered the inside panel with my own paper. Do any of you ever do that?

And speaking of patterned paper – one of SU!’s most popular promotions is on again! Buy 3 get 1 free!

Promotion period: October 1–31, 2016
There is no limit to how many times you can buy three packages of Designer Series Paper and get one free during this promotion.
Specialty Designer Series Paper and Designer Series Paper Stacks do not qualify for this promotion and cannot be redeemed through this offer.
This sale includes Designer Series Paper from both the annual catalog and the recently released holiday catalog!! Woohoo!

A bright thank you

Excuse the poor photo – but I need to get this card in the mail so took a quick picture.

I love that washi tape, as well as the flower die cut from the Sunshine Wishes die set. I CASEd the layout from this card – it’s just so perfect. I used 2 new In Colors, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. I also used the Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer to the flower – you really can’t see it too well in the photo, however.

I hope you enjoy your 1st day of October! It’s also World Card Making Day, so I just had to post!

…missing my son, who is so far away at school. Sending him this card I whipped up, again using the retired Project Life kit Everyday Adventure. Like my last card, this was so easy to put together – this time using 1 of each of the 3 sizes of cards that come in these kits. Please see my last post for more details on these versatile kits.

After creating a 4″ x 6″ Pear Pizzazz card base, I added some b&w bakers twine and a wooden heart. I made the sentiment using really old rub-ons from my stash. They don’t look perfect because they are so old; I had a heck of a time getting them on in the first place! I had to MacGyver some of the letters, LOL. So no stamping on this card!
