I don’t scrapbook – wish I did, but I don’t. I’m a card maker mostly. But I like to buy the Project Life kits because there are SO many cards you can make from them! This card is from a retired kit called Everyday Adventure. I got it in the Clearance Rack last year and have made tons of cards already. The kits come with 100 Double-sided cards in 3 sizes: 4″ x 6″, 4″ x 4″, 3″ x 4″. I trimmed the card with the triangle pattern on it a bit for this 4 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ card.
This card uses 2 of the sheets that came in the kit. I added the Bermuda Bay card base, star sequins, linen thread, and white jagged trim on the top and bottom using a retired edgelit. So easy! I did add dimensionals to the back of the “HI” card, but otherwise it’s pretty flat for better mailing.
You should check out the Project Life kits, and Accessory Packs! They offer many possibilities beyond scrapbooking. There are some in the catalog, as well as the Clearance Rack (as of today). I did get the Seasonal Snapshot kit that is still available to make Fall, Hallowe’en, and Christmas cards with – all 100 cards for $6.40! The Accessory Pack is only $5.20 right now! I can’t wait to use them!
Thanks for stopping by today!
