Hi everyone! I hope you are all staying cool. It’s been very hot here, but we got some much needed rain, thank goodness. I made some little thank you notes to send off to some of my sweet customers. I just love that butterfly from the Strength and Hope stamp set. Remember, when you purchase this stamp set, available only until August 31st, SU! will donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation – so nice!
This card was slightly tricky, in that I wasn’t able to use a punch to cut out the squares. Other than that, it’s straightforward enough. I had my sewing machine out anyway, so decided to add some stitching as well. Do you like the patterned paper I used here? It’s called Cheerful Treat, and it’s only available as a Hostess item. BUT, I have a couple of Paper Shares still available, and I’m including samples of this package of Designer Series Paper for free! See this post for more information. Card measures 3″ x 3″.
Guess what? I was let go from my job last Thursday (only had been there 3 months), so I’m hoping there will be more projects here on the blog-o! At least I plan on making it a priority. I’m not sure what’s in store for me for the future, but I’m totally going to try to ramp up my Stampin’ Up! business here in my new area, as well as another venture my family is taking on. I may touch more on that in the future here, so stay tuned, lol!
You all are so great – and I’m thankful that you stop by, especially when you also say, “hello”. Thanks for being there!
