There are so many wonderful people out there who have helped us out lately. When I went to make some cards to express our appreciation, I found this sentiment, long since retired, and from a pretty rare stamp set. “you’re simply the best” covers exactly how we feel. So I’ll be making up a bunch of these. On the first card I also used some papers you may not have seen – they are the back sides of the Delightful Dates Calendar Kit found on the Clearance Rack. I just couldn’t throw them away!
Think of the possibilities – any number of sentiments would be appropriate for this layout. Choose your colors and ribbon and you’re all set! You wouldn’t even have to emboss the front if you didn’t want to. I just love the simplicity. And for only $5.95, that heart punch is such a value! Cards measure 4 1/4″ x 3 3/4″. Just throw them into a regular sized envelope and mail.
Tip: Stamp the sentiment before embossing. I know it may look like the sentiment on the first card wasn’t either inked properly, stamped completely, or was inked after embossing, but the font is slightly “grungy” is all.
Thank you for stopping by today – I hope you have a terrific week!

Another wonderful CAS card my friend. Great trick repurposing the calendar pieces. Helpful new friends and neighbors are truly the best and make a new home and new community so much more enjoyable. Hope the settling in process is moving along without too many problems to overcome.

Jackie, these are really pretty! I love the cute subtle hearts. Did you stamp directly on the card base AFTER you’ve embossed?! If so, … wow!

No, CeeCee, I stamped before embossing. I think perhaps you’re seeing the scratchy font of the first sentiment – it is just like that. I don’t think it would turn out as well stamping it afterwards. Thanks for stopping by!
