Edited to add: This contest is now closed. See this post for the winner.
I just went over 80,000 hits, so as a small “Thank You”, I am giving away some blog goodies to a lucky commenter! Here’s how to win: Visit my last post and tell me what you would give away in this cute little bag. I plan on making lots of these and think you could give me some great gift ideas. The measurements are given on that post, so that will help you determine what might fit. I will take comments from both this post and the one with the bag, to make it easy on you. And if you happened to have commented already on that post and would like to be entered twice, then you can also comment on this one and I’ll count them both! Just a little bonus to those of you who commented without knowing you’d get something for it. I’ll only be giving the extra bonus to those who commented before this one posts to keep it fair. This contest will be open to all US & Canada commenters.
What can you win?
- Tombow Multi Liquid Glue – my adhesive of choice!
- 1 roll of Whisper White taffeta ribbon (10 yards)
- 1 roll of the silver elastic cord (25 yards)
- Dazzling Diamonds
- sampling of clear rhinestone brads
- Whisper White craft ink re-inker
- On Board Book Basics, small
- assortment of chipboard stars
- mini clear stamp set (2 stamps)
- assortment of googlie eyes (2 sizes)
You’ll have until Thursday, the 12th at 9pm ET. I’ll then draw a winner. Good luck!
Yay, Jackie! 80,000 hits – pretty sweet!:) In your cute paper bags, I would put Christmas candy – anything with appropriately festive colors, or maybe a homemade treat, like fudge or bark or something. (It would have to be something that’s wrapped well so the bag wouldn’t get greasy or gooey.)

Hi Jackie … Great little Christmas bag! I would use it for some Christmas candy along with a gift card. I’m trying to come up with a fun way to give gift cards, and I think this bag would be perfect. Thanks for sharing your talent on your blog … I always enjoy visiting and seeing what you’re creating!! Happy Stampin’ … Tami =)

Wow Jackie! Awesome candy! What would I put in your cute bag??? Hmmmm…..actually, you know what I’d do? I’d make a bunch of them and bundle it together and give THAT as a gift. I’m sure whomever receives it will love filling it with some great goodie…or they could be like me and just hoard it! LOL!

Hi Jackie, Congrats!!!! I would use the bags as a hostess gift for my Christmas guest to our home. By using a paper bag, the cost is affordable. I would enclose home made candy and cookies. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Have a wonderful thanksgiving. Happiness, Carol G.

Congratulations on the milestone Jackie! I know my week isn’t complete without checking in a few times to see the latest inspiring goodness. Not to mention trolling your archives fairly regularly. You make filling my newsletter links lists and blog picks so much easier!
Hmm…what would’t fit (well maybe not a hunky movie star that shall remain nameless) but perhaps…
Gifts for workshop hostesses or other stampers with an incentive stamp, ink pad and few small squares of cardstock or DSP samples.
stamping goodies for friends or fellow stamping freaks (hint, hint – pick me pick me)
Candy and cookies of course
Lots of chocolate of all kinds (hah – chocolate doesn’t count as candy as in the above since really its a major food group for most demo’s)
Mini albums perhaps made with the Scallop Square or circle Big Shot dies
mini card sets or tags
Card candy sets
Diamond rings and other fun jewelry – the cheap but classy container might fool them – besides you saved so much on the bags you can spring for a bigger rock….oh yeah a pet rock would fit in here as well (talk about retro!)
Vintage Buttons and thread for sewing enthusiasts or quilt fat quarters
luscious handmade soaps or other toiletries
candles with stamps, rub ons or decor elements on them
Popcorn…for movie nights instead of bowls dip the bags in a bowl
Use them as luminarias for your holiday party – just add sand and an electric candle
And lastly I bet all your blog candy offering will fit inside (consider this another blatent bid for being picked – LoL!)
Oops I forgot to add that anything made and shared with love will probably fit one way or another. Prayers and caring fit any size container.
Hugs and blessings my friend – Jean

What a great idea your DH came up with! Love the way you put the to and from at the bottom. I’d load it up with something homemade–cookies sound good. If it’s for a stamper, I’d add one of those Tombow glue dispensers!
