I had the papers & ribbon left over from Stamp Club, so I decided to make another quick card, using a couple of new Hostess Sets from the new catalog, coming out July 1st. How I love the Top Note die…it’s worth buying the Big Shot just to use it! The layout is the same one I used on my last post, which I saw over at Becky’s blog.
Thanks for stopping by today, and thank you so much for your sweet comments!
{Best Wishes ingredients}
Stamps: Kind & Caring Thoughts, Wings of Friendship
Paper: Chocolate Chip & Whisper White card stock, Bella Birds DSP
Ink: Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Old Olive & Chocolate Chip markers, Chocolate Chip stitched 1″ grosgrain ribbon, horizontal slot punch, linen thread, stampin’ dimentionals, Top Note Bigz die & Big Shot by Sizzix
You know, I totally overlooked that stamp set . I may have to put it back on my radar, I have seen it on a few different blogs and it looks more appealing.
I love that layout too. sometimes when you don’t know what to do, put a Top Note cutout there and it makes all sorts of difference.

LOVE IT!!! I have to say that I did NOT overlook this set, I really like it but, didn’t get it. In fact, I put in one order and waited to order the level 2 for the simple fact that I was not too excited about the variety of samples I had seen on Splitcoast. So alas, I went ahead and ordered the Christmas Punch set (which I think is cute and I could literally CASE the project idea out of the book for a class).
Now, I’m sad because I REALLY like your card. In fact, I cased your card using this layout (from the other day:). I will be posting to my blog in a couple of days. Don’t forget to go check it out:)))
I guess, I will just have to place a $300 order to get it, lol. Think of all of the other goodies I’ll get if I do that. hmmm…

Gorgeous! I can see this as a Christmas Card, a Valentine’s Card, etc, etc. All with just a change of sentiment. It’s absolutely perfect.
Gotta agree with you about the Top Note. And that Big Shot is just so darn addicting! Very hard for me to make a card without something Big Shot involved! Cats on the other hand still aren’t quite sure what to make of it. Especially the popping noises it often makes. Sandy has a habit of nosing the multipurpose platform from front to the back. She just can’t figure out how to reverse the process so howls for me to come fix her new toy. She also can’t figure out how to work the handle thank goodness. Though I’m sure it’s just a matter of time!
Hugs and blessings from Oregon – Jean
