My daughter’s 17th birthday was yesterday (May Day) and here’s one of her gifts, which I made for her (I also made one for her friend). They are passport sleeves. We live 45 minutes from the Canadian border, so it’s very helpful for us to carry passports. My daughter and her friend are going to Toronto later this month so we ordered her a passport. I thought these little sleeves would be so fun! I found the tutorial here, and followed it exactly. I’m NOT a seamstress but it was quite easy to whip these 2 out in no time. I let my daughter pick out the fabric for her and her friend, but she had no idea why. It was fun presenting her with this to quell her curiosity!
Now I’m on a mission to find some super cute owl patterned fabric to make one for myself!
Sorry no stamping today, but thanks for stopping by! I’m trying to round up some goodies for you soon to celebrate a couple of things, one of which is my closing in on 55,000 hits, which will be any minute now! I’ll be back when I have something you might want…lol!
