My sweet & talented blogging friend Melissa Phillips, as well as the wonderfully talented Wendy Johnson have issued a challenge on their blogs to use felt in any way on a card for World Card Making Day, which is October 4th. I decided to play along and made this card.
I wasn’t sure it would work, but I ran the bird from the Birds & Blooms sizzlit through my Big Shot with some felt and although it didn’t cut it out completely, I was still able to finish cutting the bird out easily enough! I was super happy! If you’ve followed my blog at all lately, you’ll recognize him! I found some random bling for his eye and applied it with Crystal Effects.
I used the new Season of Friendship stamp set for the image and sentiment. What a fun, seasonal set that is! I used a Build a Brad with some of the paper from the Hostess Level 1 Paper Pack, too. I just love the fall colors! Why don’t you take the challenge and make something with felt today! Thanks for coming by today!
This is beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration…I am going to ink up that stamp TODAY!

How neat! I’m so proud of you that you’ve used your Big Shot with felt! I haven’t ventured past paper yet… of course I haven’t had it very long either!
