I LOVE the season of simple grace card! All of the images seem to work just perfectly with the layout you have here. It is a simple and beautiful card (the raffia is so much better than a ribbon)
The first two cards are great, of course. But there is something that really connects with me on that Simple Grae card....

Jackie all three cards are awesome but I am especially taken with the third holy story card. What great use of the stamp set, it's simple and beautiful. The raffia & sponging or distressing really add to the look. It's hard to use that set without making a fold out card of some sort. This one is perfect! Thanks so much...Barb

Hi Jackie,

Aren't you brilliant! No cutting on the Season of Simple Grace! Now why didn't that occur to me! Also didn't occur to me to put the kings on the inside either and I was mourning their loss. Now I see if I did a regular fold instead of a tent fold I can have them all! I love how we all help each other along with our ideas and various takes on projects. You just made my Christmas card projects a thousand times easier. Now I just have to find my raffia stash.

Your other designs turned out well and I can see why the ladies enjoyed them. Thought I would pass along another tip I found that helps keep the shimmer in the right place. If you ink the image with Versamark first and then daub on the shimmer combination you have less chance of getting stuff in the crevices as the Versamark acts as an attractant. Kind of like with magnets. Helps hold more ink on the bold images as well.

Thanks for sharing the fun and the details. Off to CASE you now my friend! And wishing you were here on the West Coast so I could invite you to next Saturday's Open Studio day. Having you here in person could only improve the design ideas!

Hugs and blessings - Jean
