I know, right? It’s so CUTE! I loved the one shown on the flier for the Summer Smooches promotion, that I made pretty much the same one the day I got it. I even sewed around the edges, like they did. The die includes a handle, but I wanted to use the fun ruffled ribbon instead. My scallops are definitely more pronounced than the original, and I’ll tell you how I made them. I used the small heart punch (8) and just glued them under the flap. Voilà!
What I love about this die is that it already has a slit in the front to tuck the flap in. On my previous mini purse, I used a small piece of velcro under the cover and on the front to close it. The whole purse is a little smaller than the one I showed you earlier, and I’m sorry I don’t have it now to take a picture of them side by side (I gave it away). Even though its smaller, I think it’s a great size and will hold at least 4 of those Hershey’s Nuggets, and a myriad of other things. I’m giving this Petite Purse Bigz L Die (item #125606) a “thumbs up”! Don’t forget that you can get it now, until the end of this month, or you can wait until June 1st when it will be in the new catalog.
