I just had to make another card with my favorite stamp set from the Occasions Mini, Nature Walk.  It’s retiring on Saturday – yikes!  It’s definitely the bird I’m drawn to the most, but actually I love all the images in that set.  I used markers to ink up the bird, then stamped. I used my very last piece of Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon…must order more!

And I actually used my sewing machine.  I shy away from using it, but figured that since I do indeed own a good machine, I might as well use it, lol!  I should use it more often, because I really do like the look.  I also used the new baker’s twine in the white (coming up in the Summer Mini), but I ran some Crumb Cake ink over it with a sponge to take the whiteness down a bit.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Are there any items from the Occasions Mini catalog that you really want, but didn’t get a chance to order yet?  I’m always surprised when people tell me they didn’t realize the items in there will most likely not ever be sold again.  Although some items will carry over to the next “big” catalog, most items will retire and will not be sold again by Stampin’ Up!  So take a look, and let me know if there’s anything I can order for you, or place an order online anytime.
