Sorry about the lack of posts.  I have been busy with family matters, and with my church calling, as well.  I finally finished making 44 mini notebooks for an upcoming meeting I’m partly in charge of, so I am itching to get my hands on some of my new stuff.

In the meantime, I have this for ya.  As you may know, on my recent trip back to visit Buffalo, NY - I had the great pleasure of holding 2 Stampin’ Up! parties with several of my favorite people!  I wanted to show you one of the hostess gifts/door prizes I made up.  I made some homemade shimmer mists and put them in these cute little holders.  I got the template to make them here.  I used some pretty papers, including the brand NEW Paisley Petals DSP, which will be included in the new catalog in July.  Did you know you can purchase this paper NOW?  It’s true…click here for details.

Anyway, just in case you aren’t sure how to make the shimmer mist, just put some rubbing alcohol into a fine mist spray bottle, then add several drops of the Shimmer Paint – your choice of colors.  The more you add, the more shimmer you’ll get.  I find the Platinum shows up best on darker colors, but the Champagne is magnificent on all colors of card stock/paper.  I haven’t personally tried it in the Frost White.

Since there are so many ingredients, I’m not going to put the ingredients list on here, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have.  Thanks for stopping by today!
