I recently purchased the Scallop Square Bigz die and I love it! I read from fellow SU! demonstrator, Gretchen, how you can make scalloped rectangles with this die, and that’s all I’ve been doing so far with it. Since she has a tutorial, just go check it out and you’ll see how, but really all you do is cut your card stock just slightly larger than the desired size, then take it out and align it up and re-cut. I also used my new Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and mixed a tiny bit with a couple of drops of Close to Cocoa ink, used a sponge dauber to paint it directly onto the trees stamp and then stamped. It made a gorgeous, sparkly copper color, which you just cannot see on camera. I just love it! Come back again to see how I mixed a different color paint and ink, and used a new stamp. Card measures 4 1/4″ x 5″. Thanks for stopping by today!

I wish I had ordered that paint! I have seen so many beautiful things done with it. Mixing it with re-inkers! Brilliant.

Such a pretty color combo.
Very pretty! Love the colors as usual….and thank you for telling me about that die…all this time I thought people were using the scallop edge punch. DUH! I was wondering…how did they make the corners so nice?! LOL!!
Another lovely! I just love that tree set. Old and awesome still!
