I had nearly forgotten about this little sizzlit die to make a flower border and decided to dust it off and use it on my Flock Together paper. It’s the “friends” rub-on I don’t like so much because it’s so hard to see. I like the rest, especially the flowers. I used vintage book print and a button from one of my most favorite blouses. It was my sisters once upon a time and then became mine and I wore the heck out of it. It just is worn out, so I’m using the buttons now.
I am so perplexed about how to get colors to photograph true. In order to get the green to look better, I enhanced the color, but then it made the blue flower border more bright than it actually is. So, imagine the card with less bright flowers along the bottom. Oh brother. Card measures 3″ x 6″. Thanks for stopping by today!

You know its different and I like it. I’m sure it looks even better in person. I need to find some old books that I’m willing to cut up. I just love when you use the book print.
I like it Jackie! The colors are great and I LOVE that flower. I really like giving someone this size card it’s perfect to slip money into it.
This is a lovely card! I like the colors and the words too.
it’s a little outside your usual style but I like it!
I missed this little number. I really like it. In my mind, the blue border is toned down and it looks fabulous.
I love it, Jackie!! The papers are so pretty, and I love your flowery bordering!! I love your print flower as well, and your button!!
Wow Jackie! I totally love this card!
I do like how the FRIENDS looks, it lets you look at the rest of the cool details on the card! (Did that make sense?)
Jackie,
I think this is fabulous! The sentiment is a perfect balance, I like it that way. Great flower for the focal point too, love the button!
Love that card! The text in the flower, the rub-on across patterned paper, the flower border!!! It’s perfect.

Don’t you wish we still had a feather stamp like the paper design so we could make this background ourselves? I’m so glad this paper is going to be around for another year.
The flower with the button is my personal fav and the whole no ink card in general is very fun.
