I want to wish all of you mothers, and women who mother, a very happy Mother’s Day! I hope you were honored for your good, mothering qualities that we as women are given.
A new card is at the end of this post, but I just had to share this card from my son. He’s 14 and made this in church today. On the front, he feels he has to point out that he drew a flower…not that it looks like a cat or anything!
Inside, a nice sentiment, then what cracks me up is that “obviously” with an arrow pointing to his name!
The back is my favorite as he shows his wit and attention to details, such as his initials, along with the “A Dallin card”. Too cute! And then did you notice the price w/ bar code on the bottom? A very expensive card at just under $1 billion! I’m glad he thinks I’m worth it! Best Mother’s Day card I think I’ve ever received! Thanks, kiddo!
Here’s a card I made for my upcoming workshop. I just love that you can make patterned paper with stamps with any colors you want to suit your needs. Super simple, but then again that’s what you want when you are teaching someone for the first time how to stamp, or when you are in a hurry, or when you need to make a bunch! Instead of stamping a sentiment in white ink and embossing with white embossing powder, I decided to keep it simple and use a rub-on. The Chit Chat rub-ons are great because they offer not only a huge variety of sentiments, but they also come in white and chocolate chip.
Thank you all so much for stopping by today!
