I made a small, 3″x3″ pop-up card for a new friend of mine. When I got the Forest Friends stamp set in the upcoming Occasions Mini catalog (available April 1st), I knew these little creatures would be adorable inside such a card. I felt the images were better served in a card that was smaller in size.
I just love the tree in this stamp set. I colored it with Old Olive & Chocolate Chip markers. Then I went back and colored some of the leaves in Always Artichoke, to give the tree a little more dimension. I stamped the bunny with Close to Cocoa ink, then used a Chocolate Chip marker to put a little darker brown around the edges.
The front of the card also used a new stamp set, called Oval All, and a new scallop oval punch. I just love being a demonstrator because I get to order these items early (and often at a discount!) and play with them first.
