We’ve had such great weather today…full of sunshine and light winds. I got to take this card’s photo outside – love that! I’ve had this little paper bird on my desk for awhile, he was a reject for decorating the chipboard bird in his shape and I hated to throw him away. So I sanded the edges a bit, gave him a clear rhinestone brad eye, and popped him off this sunny card. As always, you can click on the photo for a larger view.
This is for my Japanese “sister”, who’s birthday is coming up. She’s an amazing person and I’ve adopted her whole family! Her 65 year old mom came to visit us 2 years ago (all by herself and doesn’t speak any English!), and she’s been here as well. It’s my turn to go back – don’t ya think? Oh I wish! One day I want to go back.
Ok, enough rambling. Details of the card below, and as always, thanks so much for stopping by!!
Edited to change DSP paper name! Oops!

Love the colors. Lucky you…we’ve had doom and gloom weather down here. Nothing but rain for a couple of days and now its just gray. Hopefully we’ll have some sun soon. At least its been comfortable. I’m not a fan of the heat. Think I’m living in the wrong state?
So pretty, Jackie. It’s amazing how our rejects can sometimes become focal points to another projet and all of sudden we’re seeing in with a different eye. I love it! I’m sure your “sister” will love it.
Have a nice day!

Fabulous. This does not look like a collection of card parts.
