When it’s this pretty, keeping the card simple is the way to go to showcase your patterned paper. This is exactly what I thought when I saw Sophie’s card here. So I did the same with this one using the Urban Oasis paper. For a fun twist, I repurposed some packaging made of very thick, textured vellum and ran it through my Big Shot to create the flower. I paired it up with my new yummy corduroy button, added the hemp twine and it’s just the right touch. Since I’ll be giving this card in person, I don’t have to worry about the bulk of the flower/ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by today! Come back soon for the purse invitations and purse-shaped boxes I made awhile back!

VERY pretty. I do love the way you let the paper take center stage. I think I’m going to have to include this paper in my next SU order.
Love it. I have been loving the changes going on in the paper aisle at Michaels lately. This makes me think I should buy some of the stuff I have been fondling.
I agree with you about not covering up pretty patterned paper, Jackie!! I love your vellum flower/button accent, and these pretty colors!! Beautiful card!!
agree- you have kept it simple, but I LOVE it!
