Here’s a card using the Yummy stamp set, which I showed you a sneak peek at yesterday, from the NEW Sale-a-Bration stamps. For this card I used just the frame by inking it up with a marker, and chose a different sentiment to put inside. I LOVE this frame! I had some scraps of the Urban Garden DSP and stitched it on my Kraft card stock with my sewing machine. This was seriously a 5 minute card!
I went ahead and made another one, but this time I chose to put one of the definitions from Define Your Life inside the frame. And since the rhinestone brads have such large prongs, and stick up so high, I cut the prongs off with my Craft & Rubber Scissors and glued the rhinestone on with crystal effects. (See, you’ll still need your scissors, even though all the stamps are now die cut with Stampin’ Up!)
This is a cute little set and is perfect for jazzing up those yummy treats we like to give out, but I wanted to show that it can be used in other applications as well. Sale-a-Bration begins Feb. 1st. Card measures 4 1/4″ square.
Tip: I stamped the frame alone onto a piece of vellum card stock that I not only use with my Stamp-a-majig so that I don’t have to stamp it on my imaging sheet every time, but also so that I can easily determine which sentiments will work inside the frame. I keep this piece of vellum inside my stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by today!
