Well what could be more simple than this card? I used the Ski Slope Designer Series paper (DSP) and Chocolate Chip card stock base. I used the Season of Cheer rub-ons instead of a stamped greeting, so it couldn’t be any simpler! I sanded the scalloped edge to be able to see it a bit better, and it’s hard to see, but I paper-pierced along the bottom of the patterned paper.
To make the tree, cut a rectangle to 1 1/2″ x 3″ and cut from the bottom corners to the middle of the top. I did this in card stock as my template, then traced onto the back of 3 different patterned papers and cut them out. Put all 3 pieces together and cut into 1″ segments. Then mix and match the patterns to make 3 different trees!
Popping the tree segments and star really add dimention. This card is perfect for mailing as there is virtually no bulk! Thanks for stopping by today!
