I love this layout

I absolutely LOVE Hilary’s blog and think she has a fantastic style.  I loved her fall card so much I decided to CASE it – twice!  I used some non-Stampin’ Up! papers on this one, as well as some new Prima flowers.  I used some green felt and cut it out with the Big Shot using the Bird w/ Leaves & Flower die.  I used a sewing machine, too!  I hate getting it going as I’m not very savvy in that area, but figured it out as I love the look.  I distressed all the edges.

On this card, I used all Stampin’ Up!, except for the felt and button.  These buttons were on a blouse that I loved but that I was going to toss due to non-removable staining.  I cut off the (real shell) buttons and used them on both cards.  I only have 4 left now!  I did use the retired Outlaw DSP, as well as a retired stamp, but I love that stamp so much.  I distressed the Sage Shadow paper by lightly going over it with a stipple brush using Choclolate Chip ink.  I then distressed the edges with a sponge.  I had to emboss the image to get it to stand out enough with the pattern on the paper.
