A set of 4 Christmas cards

I think if you follow my blog much you’ll notice that I really love Kraft card stock, the Winter Post stamp set, and that scallop die!  Here, I used all 3 of my favorites to make this set of Christmas cards.  I also used the Join in the Cheer die by Sizzix (this one is [...]

Thankful Thoughts

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I hope you all are enjoying this wonderful holiday, in which we get to reflect on our many blessings.  There are so many things I’m thankful for – more than I could even list.
Ok, onto these small notes of thanks – I made these for 2 people who are very special to me.  I [...]

We had so much fun this month at Stamp Club!  We made 3 projects – starting off with this fun card made by using several punches.  (Sorry for the poor photo!)  Here’s what you’ll need to make the turkey:
1.  Nose:  Tip of a Boho Blossom Punch 6-petal Flower in Pumpkin Pie
2.  Face:  3/4″ Circle Punch in [...]

I made my fall wreath this year as part of the Craft Night held at our church a couple of weeks ago.  And what a good price at $18!  I didn’t have time to finish my wreath that night as I was too busy teaching my Boxes & Tags class, so my sweet friend Karen got together with [...]

I have several Very Vanilla card stock leftover pieces from the Top Note die.  So I wanted to use them as a frame and sponged Chocolate Chip ink around the edges.  The size of this frame became my guide for the size of the card, which is 5 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.  I put a piece [...]

I love this layout

I absolutely LOVE Hilary’s blog and think she has a fantastic style.  I loved her fall card so much I decided to CASE it – twice!  I used some non-Stampin’ Up! papers on this one, as well as some new Prima flowers.  I used some green felt and cut it out with the Big Shot using the [...]

Can you stand one more??

Here’s one more card using the Frosty Days Designer Series Paper!  I saw this card and knew I wanted to re-create it – what a cute idea!  I used the small star punch to punch out several stars from all of the patterns in the Frosty Days paper, lined them up in a circle and [...]

One more Frosty Day card

Here’s another card with the same layout and papers as my last post.  Only this time I cut my card stock to 12″ x 3″, which worked out better for tying the ribbon!  I didn’t add a sentiment, as the playfull wording on the paper was enough.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Stamps: Season of Friendship; Paper: Kiwi [...]

A little sparkle

Here’s a quick card I made using the Frosty Day DSP.  I just love the fun, non-traditional holiday colors of this paper!  Since I had cut and scored my card stock on the vertical already, and I didn’t think to put the silver cord around the card until afterwards, I used my paper piercing tool [...]

Managing my scraps

I saw this on my friend Michele’s blog and decided this would be the organizational system for my many card stock scraps.  I bought a box at the office supply store and it holds 4″ x 6″ index cards.  I used my round tab punch to punch out labels, which I glued onto each card [...]
