Here’s the first card I made for my convention swaps, but since I didn’t get a high approval rate from great friend Jean, I decided to re-work it. And I really like the one I ended up doing much better, so I’m very glad! But I thought I should show it anyway. As always, you can view it larger by clicking on the picture.
It’s a 3″x6″ size, using the new Heard from the Heart stamp set. I just LOVE this set and was able to pre-order it. (just one of the perks of being a demonstrator!). Like my convention swap, I used the new scallop border punch and used the leftover piece as a contrasting element next to it. I also used part of a leftover piece as a simple knot in the corner. That is not ribbon, but a carefully tied piece of DS paper. I love it! And it’s hard to see, but the left side of the RR card stock is folded over for a little interest. Thanks for your help, Jean! And thanks to all of you for looking!

I like it! And I love the little paper knot. That is adorable. I’d have been happy with that swap! TFS!
It’s adorable! love the colors and those sweet scallops—-cute!
