Convention Planners

I decided to make these planners for my roommate, Michele and I for convention!  I found the idea here.  Thanks to Sharon for taking the time to help me with a new category, while she was already in Utah!  Since I’m not attending organized swaps, I substituted that category for ”contacts”.  I hope Michele finds this useful!  I’m [...]

My convention swaps

Well, I’m off to convention early this morning and so I’m finally revealing my convention swaps!  I only made 50, which I feel is probably a lame amount, but it’s truly the best I could do.  Besides, what would I do with more?  What will I do with 50?

The card measures 4″x4″ with a Chocolate Chip [...]

Recycled card

When my son received this years’ birthday card from his aunt, I immediately knew I wanted to use the cute patterned part of it to make a new card!

I made my card base out of the new In Color, Kiwi Kiss – love it!  I got the layout idea from one of the July Honorable [...]

Sad…yet happy, too!

Here’s a bit of advice:  Don’t got out and get a drastic new haircut just before going to your first Stampin’ Up! convention, where you will meet lots of new-found blogging friends and stamping idols!  I took a picture of a fellow blogger with me to get my hair cut (I will not mention her [...]

Happy bird-day!

Here’s another card I made with mostly patterned paper.  The paper is from Memory Box (Aerial).  I colored the bird with Prismacolor Pencils, and used the 3/16″ corner rounder punch for the scallop.  I just thought it was such a sweet card and love the simplicity of it!  Thanks for looking!
Stamps: Hero Arts, Amuse; Paper: [...]

You can tell by my email address that I LOVE patterned paper!  I am such a collector, but every now and then I do make projects with it!  Hee!
Here are 2 cards made with the 8 x 8 Paper Pad by Cosmo Cricket, called Fleuriste.  I don’t even know if it’s old or new - [...]

For the first time ever, Stampin’ Up! is discounting some accessories that will be retiring on Aug. 10th!  Look below for the savings and contact me with any items you’d like to order.  The Blue Bayou & Purely Pomegranate double-stitched ribbon is already gone, so get these items before they sell out!  And look at [...]

edited to add:  Wow!  All markers are already sold!!  Thanks, Sharon!
My husband just returned from Japan late last night and look at what he brought me!
Since Copics are made in Japan, I thought they might be cheaper there, so I gave him a wishlist of the Ciao Copic markers I wanted and sent him [...]

I made this card for Andrea’s Makeover Monday challenge.  I took THIS CARD made by Silke Ledlow and used all SU! stamps on it to get basically the same look.  I really love the simplicity of this card and since I had the layout and colors all done for me it was super easy!  Card measures just over 4 [...]

Here’s a card I made using a Fabriano Note Card.  I bought mine at Dickblick.com.  I bought the matching envelopes, too.  They are wonderful for watercoloring on!  And great to just grab, stamp, and mail!
I used the Priceless swirl stamp in River Rock and the flowers were done in Groovy Guava.  These are 2 of [...]

Transparency Book

Here’s a mini scrapbook or photo album I made using a transparency and patterned paper.  We made these for Stamp Club last year.  It’s so easy and you can make one, too!  Here’s the tutorial.  There is room on the inside for 2 more photos.
I used the Le Jardin DS papers, with the River Rock cardstock and [...]

Here’s a card I made that I CASEd from the current SU! catalog.  I like to show how helpful the catalog is to have in hand because you can take any card or project you see in there and make one yourself!  By viewing the index in the back by page number, you can see [...]

It’s the reason I haven’t put anything on my blog lately – I’ve been filling an order of cards for a friend of mine and using some non-Stampin’ Up! stuff.  I am always torn about whether or not to show them on my blog, since first and foremost I’m a SU! Demonstrator and my blog started [...]
