Here’s the card I made for Cindy’s Terrific Tuesday challenge this month. The inspiration is from this Pottery Barn Crate & Barrel (oops!) ad:
I have to first say how disappointed I am in the color of my photo! My laptop is on the fritz (again!) and so had to “borrow” my son’s, which is our centrally located desktop computer because it’s the only one loaded with Photoshop Elements. On that monitor my card looks true to color – like the photo – a nice bright yellow! Then when I posted this using my husband’s laptop I can see that the background color is so drab! I will have to leave it this way for now, but trust me the yellow in my card is So Saffron!
Ok, onto my inspiration for the card…I first was drawn by all the plates on the wall, and of course the many colors so I decided to make several different sized circles in fun colors. The 3 circles in the middle are all patterned paper. The blue one is Blue Bayou textured cs stamped with same color ink using the berries stamp from the Always stamp set. The black & white polka dot is just Whisper White cs stamped with the polka dotted petal from the Pick a Petal stamp set inked with Basic Black.
I used a SAMJ to get the extra “happy birthday” placed just right for the sentiment. The card measures 3″x6″. Thanks for looking!
Stamps: Think Happy Thoughts, Pick a Petal, One of a Kind; Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, & Blue Bayou cs, Fall Flowers & Ginger Blossom DS paper, Pumpkin Pie Prints DS paper; Ink: Basic Black, Blue Bayou; Accessories: 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″ & 1 3/8″ circle punches, Black gingham ribbon, SAMJ
Edited to add: “oops” above – corrected the name of the ad.

I love it! The colors really pop!
Love your card Jackie! The colors and circles are so fun!
I love your card, Jackie. Especially how you added the smaller circle with the flower head over the stem from the designer paper. You are so smart!
Have a great day! Hugs and smiles
This is just darling. It is so fresh in color as well as design! Love it!
Love this! Love the bright happy colors, and the circles are so fun!
Jackie,
What a fun and sweet card! I love the playfulness of the circles and the way you made your own patterned paper is ingenious! The curvy lines of the greeting are a perfect choice.
Great job on the challenge!
