I needed to make a birthday card for a friend and loved the layout from the last card so much that I decided to do the same, but with a few changes. I LOVE the color combo of the Soft Sky, River Rock & Black. Instead of using the 3/16″ corner rounder punch to make the scallops at the bottom, I used my 3/4″ circle punch to punch out several circles and glued them to the bottom of the Soft Sky paper. Happy Birthday, “LB”!
Stamps: A Little Birthday Cheer, It’s All Good; Paper: Whisper White, River Rock & Basic Black cs, Soft Sky Prints DS paper; Ink: Soft Sky, Basic Black; Accessories: Jersey Ribbon Originals, scallop circle punch, 1 3/8″ & 1 1/4″ circles punches, Stampin’ Dimentionals
A tip for you…
Something I do to remember what colors coordinate to the Designer Series papers, Ribbon Originals, and Simply Scrappin’ Kits (especially the 1st two as they don’t have these colors listed in the catalog) is to print out the colors onto a piece of paper and stick it in the back of the package so that when I need a quick reference it’s right there with your papers/ribbons.
