Stamp Club December Project
December 29, 2007 by Jackie
Here’s what we did for Stamp Club in December. I found the project on American Crafts’ website. I used Stampin’ Up! yummy Designer Series papers, of course, and instead of using black cardstock, I used plain ‘ole posterboard, as I thought it was a little sturdier. I printed out 12 calendars directly from the project and adhered them to each 6″ x 6″ piece of paper. I tried to coordinate the papers to sort-of match each month. Then we embellised each month as well. It took quite a bit of time, especially since we only had 1 alphabet stamp set to share amongst everyone. The stamp-a-majig is essential for making this project!
First you see the calendar front (with the vellum overlay with 2008 first). In the graphic, you see a close up of each of the 12 months. It would be very pretty with various ribbons tied to the rings, but then you couldn’t flip over each month very easily so I left them off.
The embelishment directions are below. Each one was cut out or punched and applied with a Stampin’ Dimentional. You may notice that some of the months were stamped in colors other than black. But I think this was a mistake and so my club members stamped them all in black. They look much better that way.
